Tutorial #1 First Search

Tip # 1 – There are 3 ways you can search:
- Search by US Postal Services address (search tips)
- Search by APN (Assessor’s Parcel Number)
- Search by Person
I would suggest your first search is for a property you are familiar with, so you can make sense of the data as you learn about this new tool.
Tip #2 – If you have a list of properties, don’t copy & paste into the search bar. This is the best way:
- Start typing into the search bar. The widget will suggest USPS deliverable address options.
- You will see a drop-down menu.
- Choose the option that matches your state and address.
Tip # 3 – When searching by address, try typing the full address with no abbreviations.
This will help when an address has several abbreviations such as:
240 Hwy 22E
240 LA-22E
240 State Hwy 22E
If you cannot find the address from the drop down but you have the assessor’s parcel number, try searching by parcel number instead.
